About Us
Indian Youth Congress Keerampara Mandalam Committee is a grassroots youth movement committed to transforming the energy, ideas and aspirations of young people into meaningful action. As part of the Indian Youth Congress, the youth wing of the Indian National Congress, we believe that young people should not merely be the future of our society—they must be active participants in shaping its present.
Rooted in the communities of Keerampara, our organisation works at the grassroots to raise people's concerns, support those in need and create opportunities for young people to learn, lead and contribute. From educational and employment initiatives to community service, awareness campaigns, cultural programmes, civic engagement and people's movements, we strive to remain connected to the everyday realities of our community. Our activities reflect a simple belief: politics is meaningful when it reaches people and creates positive change in their lives.
"We envision a Keerampara where every young person has the confidence and opportunity to participate in public life, develop their talents and become a responsible leader. At the same time, we recognise the unique identity of Keerampara—with its natural beauty, hills, rivers, agricultural landscape and tourism potential—and see its young generation as an important force in building a sustainable and prosperous future for the region."
Guided by the values of democracy, social justice, equality, secularism, constitutional values and inclusive development, IYC Keerampara seeks to build a new generation of leadership that listens, learns, serves and acts. We believe in taking the voice of the people from the streets and neighbourhoods of Keerampara to the platforms where decisions are made.
